Ayahuasca and Integration

"Connect. Heal.  Grow."
A week of Ayahuasca with an authentic shaman, five days to understand what you saw and what to do next.

Ayahuasca Ceremonies

Over the course of the first week, you’ll participate in three night ceremonies and one daytime ceremony, guided by skilled facilitators and supported by indigenous musicians and healers. These sacred experiences are held in a safe, intentional space—where your physical, mental, and spiritual well-being are fully protected.

Daily Yoga

In the first week, Brigitte’s yoga combines vinyasa, yin, and trauma-informed movement to support nervous system regulation and a grounded reconnection with the body. During integration, each class becomes a chakra-focused journey, blending movement, breathwork, and meditation for full-spectrum alignment.

Journaling & Inner Clarity

After each ceremony, you'll receive LaWayra journaling prompts to help you process and revisit insights over time. During integration, we’ll use Morning Pages as a daily mental cleanse, clearing space for clarity and release. You'll also take part in workshops on the Law of Attraction and understanding symbols, supporting you in translating the unseen into lasting change.

Sacred Plant Medicines: Rapé, Mambé & Cacao

We’ll work with ancestral plant medicines to support clarity, grounding, and heart opening. Rapé clears stagnant energy and anchors you in presence. Mambé, a gentle coca-based powder, encourages reflection and quiet strength—especially in word circles. Cacao, served in ritual, softens the heart and supports integration through deeper connection to self, others, and the earth.

Daily Integration Circles

Held each morning after ceremony, these intimate circles offer space for storytelling, emotional processing, and shared reflection. We heal not only through our own words, but by listening deeply to others. For more personalized support, one-on-one sessions with the shaman and healers are available—offering deeper guidance and care.

Meditation & Inner Preparation

Before each ceremony, Brigitte offers a grounding meditation to help you arrive with clarity and intention. During integration, each day begins in silence with a seated practice inviting deep self-connection. You’ll explore techniques like breath awareness, mantra, visualization, candle and eye gazing, moving meditation, and dance—each a doorway into deeper awareness.

Clay Bath and Plant Bath

You’ll be guided through two traditional cleansing rituals: a clay bath, used to draw toxins and stagnant energy from the body, and a plant bath, prepared with native herbs to restore balance and vitality. These experiences are both deeply physical and energetically potent—supporting your integration by helping you feel renewed, grounded, and reconnected to the natural world.

Creative Healing Pratices

Healing doesn’t only happen in stillness—it also moves through the body and out through the hands. Throughout the retreat, you’ll be invited into creative practices like intuitive art, dance, music, and playful expression. These sessions offer space to release stuck energy, explore your inner world symbolically, and integrate the ineffable through color, rhythm, and form.

FULL DESCRIPTION: This retreat begins the moment you arrive in the lush mountains outside Medellín, Colombia. Nestled at LaWayra, a sacred healing center rooted in indigenous tradition and natural wisdom, you’ll be welcomed into a space that feels more like family than formality. While flights are not included, everything else is: transport to and from the city, nourishing meals, accommodations, ceremonies, and all integration activities. The first week includes three night ceremonies and one day ceremony, held in a safe and sacred container led by Taita (shaman) Fernando Jojoa, a deeply respected healer with ancestral roots in the Amazonian tradition. Supported by indigenous musicians and a skilled facilitation team, each ceremony is approached with integrity and care—honoring your physical, emotional, and energetic safety. You’ll be guided through preparatory meditations, reflective integration circles, and given the space to rest, journal, and reconnect. After a day of rest and reset, the second half of the retreat moves into five days of deep integration. You’ll explore practices like chakra-based yoga and meditation, creative workshops, breathwork, sound healing, plant baths, and nature rituals—each designed to help you embody the teachings of the medicine and bring them gently into your daily life. Mornings begin in silence, with tea and journaling—offering space to stay in your own internal world before rejoining the group. We then come together for chakra-aligning yoga, meditation, and breathwork to center and energize. Afternoons are spacious and soulful, with expressive practices like art, music, movement, and circle sharing, as well as workshops, solo reflection, and exploration of the land—from river dips and forest walks to sampling Colombia’s vibrant tropical fruits. One of our days will feature a cacao ceremony where we gather in celebration through dance, play, group sharing, and fire—an invitation to drop deeper into the heart and listen inward, together. Accommodations at LaWayra are simple and comfortable, designed to support rest and connection. You’ll stay in shared rooms with bunk beds, surrounded by nature and held by community. For those seeking more privacy, we offer a limited number of private cabin upgrades—spacious wooden cabins with queen beds, beautiful views, and space to retreat inward between group sessions. This is a return to truth—a pause from the noise of the world and an invitation to come home to yourself. With Taita Fernando Jojoa, Sam, and Brigitte holding the space, you’ll be supported through each stage of this journey with reverence, humor, and deep presence. If you have any questions about the retreat, LaWayra, or whether this is the right next step for you, don’t hesitate to reach out. Call, text, or email me directly. This is a journey of healing, remembering, and becoming—held with great care, and made for this moment in your life.
