FAQS
What age groups are welcome?
All age groups are welcome. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a parent.
Is there wifi/ devices allowed?
Yes there is wifi and devices allowed for when needed. Overall, we ask that you disconnect and fully engage with the retreat and community.
Do you recommend going with friends or family?
The retreat could deepen your existing bond with friends or family and also make you feel more comfortable, but it is an incredible opportunity to safely explore your independence and your own thoughts and desires.
Where do I fly into and where do I meet the group?
To arrive to the retreat you will need to fly into Medellin International Airport – Jose Maria Cordoba. As of now we provide free pickup from Medellin, but not from the airport. (Airport pickup is available extra cost.)
Aim to arrive to Medellin airport at least 2-3 hours before the pickup time, to be able to get to pick up spot stress free.
Even better if you come day earlier and relax in hotel of your choice while preparing for the retreat.
Pick up time is 1:50PM on the first day of your retreat.
Here is the pickup spot:

Easiest way is to get a taxi from the airport straight to the pickup point. Best taxies are white. Other option is to take a white bus to Medellin (there will always be one waiting at the departures) and then take a taxi to pickup spot from the bus drop off (San Diego mall) – in this case the taxies will be yellow.
We organize a bus that will pick you up from this spot and bring you straight to the retreat. Here is the location of the retreat:

In case if you can’t get flight tickets that allow you to be at the pickup point at the right time we can help you organize a private pickup from the airport straight to the retreat. It costs $75.
Going back
The bus will pick you up at the retreat on the last day of your retreat, and will bring you back to Medellin – El Poblado metro station. Pick up time is 11AM if you come for 1 week retreat or longer and noon if you came for a long weekend retreat. It takes 1.5 hours to get to Medellin.
Don’t book a flight earlier than 4.30PM to be able to be there on time stress free. (there are big lines in the airport sometimes). If you have to fly earlier let me know in advance to arrange a transport for you (for extra cost)

Why Colombia?
The views are spectacular. The nature- including the mountains, waterfalls, flowers, plants, fruits, and wildlife are breathtaking. We see toads, lizards, beautiful insects, hummingbirds, and birds that are so vastly different than in the states. All of these new and beautiful elements of the earth help enhance present moment awareness. There is a lot that can be learned from visiting a different culture. All of the people we interact with- the drivers, the farmers, the shaman, the muscians, the people assisting at the finca, the people who come to share their offerings with us are Colombian. This gives you the experience of seeing a new way of life, hearing a new language and expanding your mind. Stepping out of your current culture, can help you see yourself without all the labels you've put on yourself for who you think you should be, and find who you truly are.
Ayahuasca ceremonies in the mountains of Colombia offer a unique and profound opportunity for transformation, set in the heart of nature’s sacred beauty. The high-altitude environment provides clarity and focus, creating the perfect atmosphere for deep healing and spiritual exploration. In this sacred space, the wisdom of the indigenous Taitas, or shamans, guides each ceremony. With generations of experience, the Taitas connect participants to the ancient traditions and spiritual power of the land, ensuring a safe and profound journey. Surrounded by the awe-inspiring mountains and the healing energy of nature, the experience is enhanced, allowing for deep insights and powerful healing.

Avoid Substances and sex:
Eliminate recreational drugs, sex, and other substances that may interfere with the medicine's effects.
During the Retreat:
Surrender to the Process:
Ayahuasca works in unpredictable ways, so trust in the medicine and the guidance of the shaman. Avoid trying to control your experience.
Stay Connected to Your Intentions:
Bring your intentions to mind before each ceremony but remain open to what the medicine reveals. It may address deeper layers of healing than you expect.

Embrace yoga, meditation, journaling, and group activities with an open heart. These practices will ground your insights and help you translate them into real-life change.
Express Yourself Freely:
Share your experiences during word circles, even if they’re difficult to articulate. Often, speaking your truth is part of the healing process.
Honor Your Body’s Needs:

Create Space for Reflection:
Set aside regular time to reflect on your retreat experience.
Revisiting your journal or blueprint can provide clarity as you move forward.
Avoid Overloading Your Schedule:
Give yourself time to process the retreat. Avoid diving back into a busy routine too quickly, as integration can take weeks or even months.
Stay Connected to Your Community:
Reach out to fellow participants or facilitators for support. Sharing your ongoing journey can help maintain your growth and accountability.Remember:
