Sacred Metamorphosis

Master the art of life through meditation, creative ritual, and embodied wisdom.

Morning Yoga and Meditation

Each morning begins in silence, a return to the body and the breath. Through mindful yoga and guided meditations, you’ll learn how to breathe with presence, how to sit with ease, and what to do with the mind when silence feels full. By the end of the retreat, you will feel confident in your own 20-minute seated meditation practice, carrying home a ritual that sustains you long after you leave LaWayra.

Creative Rituals

Art becomes a language of awakening. You’ll explore mandala creation, Buddhist calligraphy, nature art, journaling, and poetry as pathways to self-expression and reflection. Both Tara of Love Land and BK Honest Yoga are lifelong artists who view creativity as a form of meditation and emotional alchemy. Together, they will help you rediscover art as a healing dialogue between the soul and the natural world.

Embodied Healing

Healing is something you feel within the body, rather than thinking through in the mind. In sessions of Thai massage, self-massage, and self-Reiki, you’ll learn how to listen to the body’s language and restore its natural harmony. Group energy practices will guide you into deeper awareness of your subtle field, helping release stored emotion through breath and touch.

Ayurvedic Ritual and Daily Rhythm

Each morning begins with gentle self-care drawn from Ayurvedic tradition. You’ll learn how to honor your body through mindful routines such as tongue scraping, oiling the skin, herbal teas, and breath before food. Every participant will receive a small kit of Ayurvedic gifts to take home, serving as reminders that the most sacred rituals are often the simplest ones. These practices root your body in balance and align your days with nature’s quiet intelligence.

The Practice of Loving-Kindness

Compassion becomes a way of being. Through Metta meditation, gentle Yoga Nidra, and restorative energy healing, you’ll reconnect with the softness of your own heart. These sessions teach you how to hold yourself and others with patience, kindness, and curiosity. Rooted in Buddhist tradition, Love Land brings the wisdom of her upbringing to guide these practices with reverence and clarity.

Sacred Movement and Play

Movement releases our inhibitions. Through improvisation, ecstatic dance, and traditional Colombian rhythms, you’ll experience the freedom of the body in motion. These sessions encourage play, presence, and surrender, dissolving self-consciousness through rhythm and joy. What begins as dance becomes a meditation in motion, a celebration of embodiment and release.

Chakra Alignment and Energy Awareness

Energy flows where attention goes. Through guided visualization, breath, and sound, you’ll explore each of the seven chakras as portals of awareness and transformation. Each day carries a subtle energetic focus, integrated through meditation, movement, journaling, and collective healing. Chakra elixirs will also be shared throughout the week, inviting balance through taste, vibration, and intention.

Ceremony and Community

The week opens beneath the Virgo Full Moon with ceremonial cacao, fire, drumming, and elemental offerings to earth, air, water, and fire. You’ll play the handmade drums created earlier in the week and weave intention into sound and movement. Each evening opens space for reflection, storytelling, and connection. Community becomes the vessel through which transformation takes form, reminding us that awakening deepens when it’s shared.

FULL DESCRIPTION This retreat begins the moment you land in Colombia. You’ll fly into Medellín, where a private group bus will meet you in El Poblado around noon on March 1st and bring you through the mountains to LaWayra—a lush sanctuary built for rest, renewal, and spiritual growth. While flights are not included, everything else is: meals, accommodations, all activities, and group transport to and from the retreat center. Once you arrive, you’ll be welcomed into a space that feels more like a community than a program—expect warmth, laughter, and shared transformation. Each day we’ll move through the three pillars of this retreat: Meditation, Creative Ritual, and Embodied Wisdom. You’ll learn the foundations of stillness—how to breathe, how to sit, and what to do with the mind during silence—supported by daily yoga, loving-kindness practices, and guided meditations. Some sessions will unfold in stillness, others will be softly guided, helping you develop your own 20-minute seated meditation practice to carry home. From there, creativity takes form through mandala making, Buddhist calligraphy, poetry, and nature-based art. Guided by Love Land, who grew up immersed in Buddhist tradition, and BK Honest Yoga, who blends art and spirituality through movement and storytelling, these rituals will help you rediscover creation as a form of meditation. Together, they’ll invite you to explore art not for beauty, but for healing, curiosity, and presence. Embodiment anchors everything we do. You’ll experience improvisational movement, ecstatic dance, and Colombian rhythms that reconnect you to the natural joy of being alive. Through Thai massage, self-massage, and self-Reiki, you’ll learn to move and release energy through the body with awareness and care. These sessions open pathways of trust, grounding, and vitality—reminding you that transformation happens through feeling, not force. Throughout the week, we’ll also explore the chakras through visualization, sound, and meditation. You’ll receive chakra elixirs designed to balance and activate subtle energy—each one a reminder that healing can be both practical and mystical. Mornings include Ayurvedic rituals such as oiling the body, herbal teas, and gentle cleansing practices, with a curated set of gifts to help you continue these rituals at home. Our time together culminates in a Full Moon Ceremony under the Virgo sky—a sacred evening of fire, cacao, handmade drums, and elemental offerings to earth, air, water, and fire. Together we’ll create a living ritual of release, gratitude, and renewal. Evenings close with shared meals, dance, reflection, and community—a rhythm that celebrates both stillness and expression. At its heart, Sacred Metamorphosis is an invitation to remember the art of being alive. To move, breathe, and create from a place of honesty. To find wisdom not through striving, but through surrender. You’ll be guided by a team who understands transformation deeply—and who hold it with warmth, humor, and grounded presence. The land at LaWayra carries a kind of ancient intelligence. So does the group that’s forming. If you have questions—big or small—please don’t hesitate to reach out. You can call, text, or email me directly. I’m happy to talk things through with you. Transformation is waiting—but in a way that feels gentle, nourishing, and utterly human.
